How to Stop Hair Fall Naturally: Hair fall has become a common problem these days. Many people complain that as soon as they wash their hair, they see a pile of hair in the drain. Even when combing, hair gets caught in their hands. It's natural to feel anxious. But have you ever considered that the problem might not just be the shampoo or oil, but also the way we wash our hair? We often wash our hair in a hurry or without proper knowledge. Using too much hot water, too much shampoo, vigorously rubbing, or combing wet hair can all weaken our hair. If you wash your hair properly, your hair will not only break less but will also appear softer and shinier.

Simple Yet Effective Hair Wash Tips
1. Do a light oil massage before washing your hair
Massage your scalp with lukewarm oil 30-40 minutes before washing your hair. This improves blood circulation in the scalp and strengthens the hair roots. You can use coconut oil, almond oil, or amla oil. If time is short, apply oil at least 15 minutes before shampooing. This will reduce dryness and hair breakage.
2. Avoid very hot water
People often wash their hair with very hot water in winter. This habit weakens the hair. Hot water strips the scalp of its natural moisture, leaving it dry and lifeless. Always wash your hair with lukewarm or normal water. A light rinse with cold water at the end gives hair a natural shine.
3. Don't apply shampoo directly to the scalp
Many people apply shampoo directly to the scalp. This is a wrong practice. First, mix some shampoo in your hand, add a little water, and create a lather. Then, apply it to the scalp with gentle hands. Instead of rubbing it vigorously with your nails, massage it gently with your fingertips. This will remove dirt and protect your hair.
4. Avoid excessive shampooing
Daily shampooing is not necessary for everyone. Washing your hair 2-3 times a week is sufficient (if the scalp isn't too oily). Shampooing too much removes the hair's natural oiliness, leading to weakening and breakage.
5. Use conditioner wisely
Conditioner makes hair soft and manageable, but apply it only to the length of the hair. Applying conditioner to the roots can make the scalp greasy, and hair look dirtier faster. Leave the conditioner on for 2-3 minutes and then rinse thoroughly.
6. Don't comb wet hair
Wet hair is most vulnerable after washing. Combing it during this time will cause more breakage. First, gently dry it with a towel. Don't rub your hair vigorously with a towel; instead, gently press it dry. Once your hair is slightly dry, detangle it with a wide-tooth comb.
7. Use a hair dryer sparingly
Excessive heat strips hair of moisture. Try to let your hair air dry naturally. If you must use a dryer, choose a low heat setting.
8. Internal nutrition is also important.
External care alone is not enough. Strong hair requires protein, iron, and vitamins. Eat pulses and green vegetables, include seasonal fruits, and drink plenty of water. A balanced diet strengthens hair roots.
Use a hair mask
Apply a yogurt, aloe vera, or egg hair mask once a week. This provides extra nutrition to hair and makes it smoother and shinier.
Small mistakes while washing hair can be a major cause of hair breakage. Simple habits like using the right temperature water, gentle massage, limiting shampooing, and drying properly can strengthen your hair.
