Hanuman Janmotsav Bhog Recipe: An Easy Way to Please Bajrangbali—Be Sure to Prepare This Offering for His Birth Celebration..

What is Lord Hanuman's Favorite Offering? On the auspicious occasion of Hanuman Janmotsav (Hanuman's Birth Anniversary), offering Lord Hanuman his favorite *bhog* (sacred food offering) is considered extremely propitious. It is believed that *prasad* (blessed food) offered with a sincere heart quickly pleases Bajrangbali, and the devotees' wishes are fulfilled.

Offering *Boondi ke Laddoos*, *Besan ke Laddoos*, roasted chickpeas (*Chana*) with jaggery (*Gur*), Tulsi (Holy Basil) leaves, and *Sindoor* (vermilion) to Bajrangbali is considered auspicious. These items are among his favorites, and offering them brings blessings to the devotees. You can also prepare and offer *bhog* for the devoted servant of Lord Rama—Hanuman—right at home. On this special day, homemade *prasad* holds particular significance. Let us explore Bajrangbali's favorite offerings and their easy-to-follow recipes.

**Boondi ke Laddoos**

One of his most cherished offerings is the *Boondi Laddoo*. You can easily prepare *Boondi Laddoos* at home. Follow the recipe provided here to make the *prasad*; the taste may turn out to be even better than the *laddoos* bought from the market! Please take note of the ingredients and method outlined below.

**Ingredients for Making Laddoos**

*   Gram Flour (*Besan*): 1 cup
*   Sugar: 1 cup
*   Cardamom Powder
*   Ghee (Clarified Butter)

**Method for Making Boondi Laddoos**

1.  Mix water into the gram flour to create a batter.
2.  Ensure the batter is neither too thick nor too thin in consistency.
3.  Now, heat oil or ghee in a deep pan (*kadai*).
4.  Using a perforated ladle or sieve, pour the gram flour batter into the hot oil.
5.  Fry the batter droplets (*boondi*) until crisp.
6.  Separately, prepare a sugar syrup (*chashni*).

7.  Mix 3/4 cup of water with 1.5 cups of sugar and cook over a medium flame.
8.  Continue cooking until the syrup thickens. The syrup is ready when it feels slightly sticky between your thumb and forefinger (reaching a one-string consistency).
9.  Now, add the fried *boondi* to the sugar syrup and mix thoroughly.
10. Once the mixture has cooled down slightly (to a temperature you can handle), mold it into *laddoos* (round balls).
11. Set them aside for a while to let them firm up.
