A stunning sight of this kind can currently be witnessed in the Ichak block of Hazaribagh. The Sikri Waterfall is located in the Banka neighborhood of Babhani village, within the Dadha Panchayat of Ichak block. Following the rains, the waterfall has come alive; the water cascading from a height of approximately 65 to 70 feet draws visitors in.

The scenery surrounding the waterfall is equally breathtaking, with greenery all around. The sight of water tumbling amidst the hills resembles a picture-perfect landscape. The sound of the waterfall and the cool breeze offer a sense of tranquility to visitors. Large numbers of people are currently flocking to the site; many come for picnics with family and friends, while others enjoy bathing in the cascading waters. Young people can be seen capturing photos and videos on their mobile phones. The location has become a particular favorite during the rainy season.

A Beautiful Sight
The Sikri Waterfall is situated about 40 kilometers from the Hazaribagh district headquarters. Although the route to reach it is somewhat challenging—and the road conditions are in need of improvement—the stunning view that greets visitors upon arrival washes away all the fatigue of the journey. Locals believe the Sikri Waterfall holds immense tourism potential. If the administration were to develop roads, seating areas, and other essential amenities, it could become a major tourist attraction in Hazaribagh.

Villagers hope the administration will focus on developing this natural site. Such development would increase the number of tourists and create new employment opportunities for the local community.
