Eating at the right time is very beneficial for our health. Not only this, it is also very important to have a good diet along with it. According to Ayurveda, the right time of food does not only depend on our hunger but also affects our body's biological clock. Eating the right type of food at the right time not only improves health but also keeps the body energetic throughout the day. Let us know what should be the right time for food according to Ayurveda.

1. Breakfast (7-9 am) - Eat light and nutritious food
The digestive fire is slow in the morning, so breakfast should be light and rich in nutrients. It will be beneficial to include fresh fruits, dry fruits, porridge, or light food made of ghee. Avoid eating very heavy, fried, or cold food.
2. Lunch (12-2 pm) - Eat the heaviest food
According to Ayurveda, the digestive fire is strongest at this time, so that the body can absorb nutrients well. Therefore, include a balanced diet of dal, rice, roti, vegetables, and desi ghee in the lunch. Avoid processed food and excessive fried food.
3. Evening snack (4-6 pm) – Light
Eating light snacks in the evening prevents excessive hunger before dinner and improves digestion. It is good to have fruits, roasted makhana, dry fruits, or herbal tea at this time. Packaged snacks, very sweet or fried items should not be eaten.
4. Dinner (7-8 pm) – Light and early
According to Ayurveda, the digestive power slows down at night, so eating heavy food late at night can cause stomach problems. It is better to have dal, light vegetables, khichdi, or soup for dinner. Do not eat too spicy, heavy, and cold food.
5. Before going to bed (9-10 pm) – You can drink something light
If you feel a little hungry before going to bed, then taking warm turmeric milk, herbal tea or lukewarm water can be a good option.
