On May 25, the late actor Dharmendra was posthumously honored with the Padma Vibhushan. This award for 'He-Man' was received by his wife, Hema Malini. Following the ceremony, Hema took to social media today to share this special moment, accompanying it with an emotional note.

'A Sense of Dharam Ji's Presence'
Hema Malini shared several photographs on Instagram. In the accompanying caption, she wrote, "This was a moment of immense joy and pride for me. I felt as though Dharam Ji himself was present right there, holding my hand and guiding me toward the stage."

'Tears in Her Eyes'
Hema further wrote, "As the President was presenting awards to the distinguished personalities, I sat there as Dharam's representative. All the memories—the years spent together, working as co-stars in films, and eventually becoming his wife—flashed before my eyes, and my eyes welled up with tears." Remembering Dharmendra, Hema Malini wrote that he was a deeply loving husband, a wonderful father, a grandfather, and a true mentor. "Everyone who knew him loved him dearly."

'Gratitude Expressed to Fans'
Hema Malini stated that she accepted this honor on behalf of her entire family, as well as Dharmendra's millions of fans and well-wishers. Expressing her gratitude to God, she wrote that she would cherish Dharmendra's memories until her very last breath. Before Hema, her daughter, Esha Deol, had also shared a special post dedicated to her father, Dharmendra.
