**Spicy Jackfruit Masala Recipe**
Jackfruit tastes incredibly delicious when prepared with a spicy gravy; here is the recipe:

**Ingredients**
14–15 pieces of jackfruit

1/2 cup yogurt (curd)

1/4 tsp turmeric powder

2 tbsp oil

1 tsp ginger-garlic paste

1 tsp dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi)

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 tsp garam masala

1/2 tsp red chili powder

**Ingredients for Gravy**
2 tbsp oil

1 cup water

1-inch cinnamon stick

5–6 cloves

1 tbsp cumin seeds

1 finely chopped onion

2 chopped tomatoes

1 tsp ginger-garlic paste

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1 tsp coriander powder

1/4 tsp garam masala

2 tbsp finely chopped fresh coriander

1 tsp red chili powder

Salt to taste

**Method**
First, place the jackfruit pieces in a bowl and pour salted water over them; this prevents the jackfruit from discoloring.

Next, add the yogurt, red chili powder, turmeric, kasuri methi, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, and a little water, then mix everything well.

Once the marinade is well-combined, let the jackfruit marinate for 30 minutes.

Now, heat oil in a pan and sauté the cumin seeds, cinnamon stick, and cloves.

After that, sauté the onion and ginger-garlic paste.

Add the turmeric, red chili powder, and coriander powder, and let the masala cook. Add the tomatoes to the masala and let them cook as well.

Add the jackfruit and salt to taste.

Pour in the required amount of water.

Cook the vegetable dish on medium heat for 15 minutes, then check if the jackfruit is cooked through.

Stir in the coriander and garam masala.

Remove the dish from the heat; your spicy jackfruit curry is ready.

Serve it with naan, roti, or rice.
