Laddu Gopal Seva Winter Rules: The winter season has begun, and now the ninth month of the calendar, Margashirsha, has also begun. As winter approaches, the service and decoration of Laddu Gopal also change in every home. Religious texts ascribe great importance to this holy month, known as the month of Agahan. It is believed that worshipping Laddu Gopal during this month holds special significance. For this reason, devotees become overwhelmed by the thought of what offerings to offer, how to bathe him, and how to protect him from the cold so that his mind remains happy. Let's explore what offerings to offer Laddu Gopal during the winter, and how to bathe and serve him…

Laddu Gopal's Offerings in Winter
In the winter season, Laddu Gopal can be offered hot milk with saffron and turmeric, panjiri, sesame-jaggery laddus, gond laddus, greens, and moong dal halwa. It is believed that this keeps Laddu Gopal warm, and he blesses everyone. Be sure to include Tulsi leaves in the offering plate; this encourages Laddu Gopal to accept the offerings with pleasure. Similarly, the morning bath is different from normal days. In most homes, during this season, instead of cold water, the abhishekam is performed with lukewarm water or even just scented water, so that the child form does not feel cold.
Bhog Mantra
Tvadiyam vastu Govind tubhyameva samarpaye. Grihaan samukho bhutva prasid parmeshwara. This mantra means, O Govind! Everything I have is your gift; I am offering it to you. Please accept it and be pleased. Chant this mantra with complete devotion and love.
Laddu Gopal's clothes in winter
Just as a small child is cared for, devotees bring the same tenderness to Laddu Gopal's service these days. Soft woolen clothes, a soft shawl, short socks, a warm seat, and serving in front of a lamp and in mild sunlight become essential for devotees during winter. It's a simple fact that the more love devotees put into serving him, the more peace and positivity is felt in the home.
