According to the poster, 'Matrubhumi' is set for release this year. Although the makers have not yet announced a specific release date, it is certain that the film will hit the screens this year.

A notable detail about this new poster is the absence of the director's name; it simply states that it is a "Salman Khan Films" production. The makers have not yet disclosed the reason for this omission.

**Name change for Salman's film**
Initially, the film was titled 'Battle of Galwan'. It was later renamed 'Matrubhumi'. The film is based on true events—specifically, the historic clash between Indian and Chinese troops in the Galwan Valley on June 15, 2020. Twenty Indian soldiers were martyred in that confrontation.

**Salman Khan's role**
Salman Khan plays the lead role in 'Matrubhumi'. He portrays Colonel Santosh Babu, the Commanding Officer of the 16 Bihar Regiment, who led the Indian troops during the battle. The film is directed by Apoorva Lakhia. Apart from Salman Khan, the cast includes Chitrangada Singh, Abhilash Chaudhary, and Ankur Bhatia.
