Mahakumbh 2025 started on January 13 and will conclude on February 26, 2025, on the day of Mahashivratri. According to religious belief, bathing in Kumbh destroys the sins of life and purifies the soul. On this holy occasion, some rules have been made especially for women, which are considered auspicious to follow.

During Mahakumbh, women should pay special attention to living a restrained and satvik life. It is necessary to maintain mental and physical purity at the time of bathing and before that.
Bathing in Kumbh is not only limited to physical purification, but it is also a symbol of self-purification and devotion. Therefore, at the time of bathing, the mind should be engaged in the worship of God and one should meditate on God.
During Maha Kumbh, husband and wife are advised to stay away from physical relations. This time is completely dedicated to spiritual contemplation and spiritual progress.
According to religious beliefs, women should take a dip in the Sangam three times. After this, worshiping God, participating in Bhajan-Kirtan, and joining the Yagya are considered very auspicious.
After bathing, it is considered mandatory to go to the temple and have a darshan. By doing this, virtue is attained and the religious journey is considered complete.
On the day of bathing in Maha Kumbh, only Satvik food should be consumed. Non-vegetarian, tamasic, and spicy food should be avoided so that both body and mind remain pure.
On this holy occasion, it is necessary to avoid lies, anger, and ego. Restrained speech, a calm mind, and virtuous deeds should be followed.

Special precautions during menstruation
During Maha Kumbh, women going through menstruation should avoid bathing in the river. Instead, they can sprinkle holy water on themselves and mentally meditate on God. It is considered forbidden to participate in worship and yagna at this time.
Visit special temples
Married women must visit Bade Hanuman Ji and Nagvasuki temple after Kumbh bath. Doing so completes the religious journey.
