Mahila Samriddhi Yojana: On the occasion of International Women's Day, on March 8, i.e. tomorrow, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta is going to launch Mahila Samriddhi Yojana. After the announcement of the CM, registration for this scheme will start and after verification, Rs 2500 will start coming into the account of eligible women.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta is going to launch this scheme from Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on the occasion of International Women's Day tomorrow March 8. What will be the eligibility for the Mahila Samridhi Yojana?

The first condition for applying in this scheme will be that the applicant woman should be a citizen of Delhi.

She should not be in any kind of government job or a retired employee.

BJP has already made it clear that Mahila Samridhi Yojana is for poor women.

The woman should fall in the Below Poverty Line (BPL) or EWS category.

It is believed that the annual income of the family should be 2.5 lakh to 3 lakh.

The age of the woman should be between 18 to 60 years.

The woman should not be availing the benefit of any other scheme already.

Which documents will be required for Rs 2500?

If you fulfill the eligibility requirements for this scheme, then the following documents will be required to apply for Mahila Samriddhi Yojana Online.

Aadhaar Card

Certificate of being a resident of Delhi

BPL Card

Bank account number linked to Aadhaar card

The mobile number linked to Aadhaar

Proof of income

Passport size photo

Caste certificate (if applicable)

Get e-district registration done as well.

If you have not yet registered on the e-district portal of the Delhi government, then do that today. If the Delhi government does not implement any new portal or mobile app for this scheme, then you may need it. Till now, applications for more than 450 services and schemes in Delhi are made through the e-district portal. If the BJP government takes this forward, then you will need a User ID and Password to login to the e-district portal.
