Superstar Salman Khan is currently extremely busy shooting for his upcoming war-drama film, *Matrubhoomi*. His look from the film was unveiled quite some time ago and has been generating significant buzz. Amidst this, renowned choreographer Mudassar Khan has made some interesting revelations regarding the filming of a grand song sequence for the movie. Mudassar heaped praise on Salman Khan's tremendous energy, dedication, and his larger-than-life screen presence during the shoot.

Speaking to *FilmyGyan*, Mudassar revealed that this song has been produced on a massive scale, featuring the participation of approximately 200 dancers. He stated, "I have just choreographed a song for *Matrubhoomi* with Salman Khan Sir, which has been executed on a very grand level. It involves 200 dancers. The editing for the song is currently underway, but the 'boss-level' performance that *Bhai* [Salman] has delivered in it is truly a sight to behold. We shot this song over a span of five full days."
**Salman Khan Works Hard on His Physique**
According to reports, Salman Khan has worked rigorously on his physique for *Matrubhoomi*, and fans are in for a massive physical transformation. It is reported that, for this role, the actor underwent training amidst the freezing temperatures and extreme altitudes of Ladakh. There, he engaged in intense weight-training sessions, demonstrating remarkable stamina.
**Followed a Bodyweight Workout Routine**
According to reports, during the film's 45-day-long schedule in Ladakh, Salman followed a bodyweight workout routine, as it was impossible to transport a complete gym setup to the remote and inaccessible locations in the region. This fitness regimen of Salman's is being regarded as his most grueling workout routine in recent years.

How ‘Battle of Galwan’ Evolved into the Film ‘Matrubhoomi’
This film was originally titled ‘Battle of Galwan,’ but has now been renamed ‘Matrubhoomi: May War Rest in Peace.’ According to reports, the film has faced a slight delay due to the time required for certain patch-up shoots and post-production VFX work. It was originally scheduled to hit theaters on April 17, 2026. Recently, director Apoorva Lakhia revealed that both titles had been registered right from the inception of the project. However, the filmmakers subsequently felt that—compared to a title that merely highlights a wartime backdrop—the title ‘Matrubhoomi’ would more effectively convey the true emotional essence of the film's story to the audience.
