It is believed that adopting the right diet on Monday increases positivity in life, while the wrong food can create obstacles. According to religious beliefs, eating food keeping Lord Shiva's preferences in mind brings his blessings. These traditions are not only connected to faith but also to our physical health and mental balance. What to Eat on Monday
1. White-colored foods: Consuming milk, yogurt, rice, coconut, rock sugar, kheer (rice pudding), and white sweets on Monday is considered auspicious. White color symbolizes peace, purity, and gentleness, which are very dear to Lord Shiva.
2. Sattvic and light food: Eating fresh fruits, green vegetables, salads, and nutritious food is considered best on this day. Such food keeps the body light and calms the mind.
3. Food prepared with Ganges water: According to religious beliefs, if possible, using Ganges water while preparing food is considered auspicious, as it is considered extremely sacred.
4. Bael leaves and Tulsi: Consuming bael leaves and tulsi leaves after worship is considered beneficial. This is important from a religious point of view and is also beneficial for health.

1. Limited salt intake:
Many people abstain from salt during the Monday fast. It is believed that not eating or consuming less salt on this day maintains Lord Shiva's grace.

Simple remedies to perform on Monday:
After bathing in the morning, perform Abhishek (ritual bathing) of the Shivling with milk, curd, honey, and Ganges water.
Chant the mantra 'Om Namah Shivaya' 108 times.
Donate white clothes, rice, or sweets to the needy.
In the evening, light a lamp at home to spread positive energy.
