Mopping Vastu Tips: Vastu Shastra holds special significance in Hinduism. Therefore, people consider Vastu in everything from building a house to storing things. Everyone has their own Vastu rules. Similarly, there are rules for mopping the house. Mistakes made while mopping can cause unhappiness. According to Vastu, it is auspicious to mop after sunrise and before noon. Furthermore, mopping should always begin at the entrance and work inward. So, the question arises: what are the Vastu rules for mopping? On which days should one avoid mopping? Unnao-based astrologer Rishikant Mishra Shastri explains these rules.

When should one avoid mopping?
1. Thursday: Astrologer Rishikant Mishra explains that, according to Vastu Shastra, one should avoid mopping on Thursdays. Doing so angers Lord Jupiter and can also cause defects in the house. At the same time, those who follow the rules can receive auspicious results.
2. Ekadashi: One should avoid mopping the house on Ekadashi. Doing so increases the risk of a negative impact on the family. Furthermore, any work may face obstacles before it can even begin.
Right Time to Mop: According to Vastu, the best time to mop the house is Brahma Muhurta. This time is considered to be about 1.5 hours before sunrise. It is said that mopping during this time brings positive energy into the house, maintaining peace and happiness. Mopping during sunrise or immediately afterward is also considered good, as it brings prosperity to the home.

When Not to Mop: Never mop the house during the afternoon, as the sun is at its peak during this time, and mopping during this time does not fully utilize the solar energy entering the house. Mopping should also be avoided after sunset. This brings negativity into your home.
