Veteran actor Nana Patekar passed away at his home in Goa on Thursday at 5:20 AM following a severe cardiac arrest. CPR was administered continuously for 45 minutes in an attempt to save him, but he could not be revived. Dr. Shekhar Salkar, Head of the Oncology Department at Manipal Hospital, Goa, stated that Nana Patekar had suffered a severe cardiac arrest at his residence.

Despite 45 minutes of continuous CPR, his condition did not stabilize, and he passed away. According to Dr. Salkar, a medico-legal case (MLC) has been registered, and a post-mortem examination will now be conducted.
