Recently, director Deepak Kumar Mishra revealed that Season 5 is currently in the editing stage and could be released around October or November.

When will *Panchayat 5* be released?
Speaking to *India Today*, Deepak Kumar said, "The editing process is currently underway. The release date hasn't been finalized yet; it could be around October or November." While the exact release date remains unconfirmed, Deepak Kumar Mishra assured that the team is continuously working on the next chapter.

Changes in characters
Fans might have expected the chaos in Phulera to simply continue in Season 5. However, the director explains that now that the elections are over and Pradhan Ji has lost, the new season will show how the characters cope with the consequences of these changing circumstances.
He added, "Everyone's life will move forward. The elections are done; Pradhan Ji has lost. But how does his life proceed from there? How do the lives of the other characters move forward? How does a defeated Pradhan navigate the village now? What does he do? How does a Pradhan who lost the election move around the village? What are his actions?"

Sachiv Ji's story will progress.
According to Mishra, Pradhan Ji won't be the only character transforming; every character will have their own story arc in the upcoming season. He stated, "There is growth in everyone's story. Sachiv Ji's story will now move forward."

However, the biggest revelation came when Mishra was asked if Season 5 would be the final season of *Panchayat*. His reply was clear: "No, that is not the case." This response suggests that there may be more chapters yet to come in the *Panchayat* universe.
