Number 1 - Saying "Yes" to Everything
Grandparents often give in to their child's every demand to keep them happy. But this prevents the child from learning boundaries and discipline. If they always say "yes," they will lose the habit of accepting "no." This can lead to stubbornness and uncooperative behavior in the future.

Number 2 - Comparison
Comparing a child to other children is a very bad habit. This creates jealousy and an inferiority complex in the child. Gradually, their self-confidence diminishes. Every child is different, so instead of comparing, they should be appreciated for their strengths.

Number 3 - Breaking Routines
Sometimes, out of love, grandparents disrupt a child's routine. For example, by keeping them up late, giving them junk food, or turning on the TV during study time. This negatively impacts the child's sleep, health, and ability to concentrate.

Number 4 - Insulting Parents
If grandparents criticize or scold their parents in front of the child, it diminishes the child's respect for them.

Number 5 - Bribing
Saying "I'll give you a candy if you do this" may sound common, but this leads the child to do everything for a reward. They won't even do the necessary things without a reward.

Shweta Gandhi says, "Grandparents should definitely give their children love, but it's equally important to respect boundaries and rules." Psychologists advise that grandparents should support parents' decisions. Only when love is combined with discipline and understanding do children become sensible.
