Are you planning to visit Mathura-Vrindavan this Janmashtami to seek blessings from Kanha? If so, the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has a wonderful surprise in store for you. Just ahead of the auspicious occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami, the UP government has launched a special 'Krishna Leela' tour package for devotees of Lord Krishna.

Through this 3-day, 2-night tour package, you will have a fantastic opportunity to visit key sacred sites associated with Lord Krishna, such as Mathura, Vrindavan, Gokul, and Barsana. Let’s take a look at all the essential details regarding this special tour package.
Where does the journey begin, and what makes it special?
This special tour package has been curated by the Uttar Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation under the 'Visit My State Uttar Pradesh' campaign. The journey will commence from Lucknow at 8:00 AM. While designing this package, the government has prioritized the convenience and safety of the pilgrims, as well as ensuring a superior spiritual experience.
The 3-Day Itinerary
Day 1
On the first day of the journey, pilgrims will explore the lanes and temples of Vrindavan. The itinerary includes visits to the world-famous Banke Bihari Temple, Rangji Temple, Nidhivan, Vaishno Devi Temple, Akshaya Patra Temple, and the stunning Prem Mandir.
Day 2
The second day begins in Mathura, featuring visits to Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi, Dwarkadhish Temple, Vishram Ghat, Bhuteshwar Mahadev Temple, Govardhan Dham, the museum, Gita Mandir, and Potra Kund. Additionally, pilgrims will visit the village of Gokul.
Day 3
On the third and final day, devotees will travel to Barsana. The schedule includes visits and prayers at the Radha Rani Temple, ISKCON Temple, and Shri Radha Damodar Temple. After seeking blessings at these sacred sites, the pilgrims will return to Lucknow.
What is the cost, and what does the package include?
The Tourism Department has designed this package specifically with families and small groups in mind:
Fare: If traveling by an AC sedan, the cost is ₹10,400 per person. Meanwhile, the cost is set at ₹10,150 per person if the Crysta vehicle is chosen. Please note that a minimum of two passengers is required for the booking.
Facilities included: This package covers accommodation, breakfast, refreshments, evening tea and snacks, local sightseeing, and the services of a trained guide.
Please bear in mind that passengers will have to bear the cost of lunch and dinner themselves, as these meals are not included in the package.
