It is believed that the Ekadashi fast is observed on this day, which is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the preserver of the universe. Putrada Ekadashi 2025

This year, the eleventh day of the bright fortnight of the Paush month will begin on December 30, 2025, at 7:50 AM.
This date will end the next day, December 31, at 5:00 AM.
Therefore, Putrada Ekadashi will be celebrated on December 30, 2025.

According to religious beliefs, on the day of Putrada Ekadashi, perform an Abhishek (ritual bathing) of Lord Vishnu with Panchamrit (a mixture of milk, curd, ghee, honey, and sugar). This simple remedy removes obstacles in career advancement, promotion opportunities, and business expansion. It also brings mental peace.
On the day of Putrada Ekadashi, write 'Om Vishnave Namah' on a betel leaf and offer it at the feet of Lord Vishnu. This is considered auspicious. It is believed that this simple remedy pleases the Lord and he bestows his blessings. After the puja, keep this leaf in your locker or safe. This also leads to financial prosperity.

On the day of Ekadashi, offer bananas to Lord Vishnu. After that, feed a cow a roti (flatbread) smeared with ghee and topped with jaggery. It is believed that this simple remedy brings happiness and prosperity into the lives of children and increases their well-being.

On Putrada Ekadashi, offer three basil leaves to Lord Vishnu after chanting "Shri" 11 times. Afterward, light a lamp near the basil plant in the evening and worship it. This simple remedy creates auspicious circumstances for blessings.
On Ekadashi, light an oil lamp under a peepal tree. Then, while performing the puja, chant the mantra "Om Namo Narayanaya Namah." It is believed that this brings the grace of Lord Vishnu and brings positive changes in a person's life.
