'Ramayana' trailer out: Ranbir Kapoor wins hearts as Shri Ram; Yash looks menacing as Ravana..

The explosive trailer for Nitesh Tiwari’s highly anticipated film ‘Ramayana: Part 1’ has been released. Based on the Hindu mythological epic, this grand film features Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and South Indian star Yash in lead roles. The visuals are stunning. Yash is particularly impressive as Ravana, while Ranbir Kapoor has won hearts in the role of Lord Shri Ram.

The ‘Ramayana’ trailer opens with a powerful dialogue from Ravana (Yash), declaring himself the master of the three worlds. When his tyranny and destruction reach their peak, Lord Vishnu incarnates as ‘Shri Ram’ to restore cosmic balance and uphold righteousness (*Dharma*). This is followed by the on-screen entry of Shri Ram (Ranbir Kapoor), who slays demons from childhood and later marries Mata Sita.

What does the ‘Ramayana’ trailer reveal?

A major turning point in the story occurs when Shri Ram is forced into a 14-year exile. Sita (Sai Pallavi) and Lakshman (Ravi Dubey) accompany him on this arduous journey into the forest. The trailer then offers glimpses of the abduction of Sita by the Lord of Lanka, Ravana, and the ensuing battle—where righteousness triumphs over unrighteousness—the foundation of which is laid in ‘Ramayana: Part 1’.

The powerful star cast of ‘Ramayana’
Notably, the star cast of ‘Ramayana’ has become the talk of the town. Ranbir Kapoor plays Lord Shri Ram, and Sai Pallavi portrays Mata Sita. Kannada superstar Yash delivers a commanding performance as Ravana. Additionally, South Indian actress Kajal Aggarwal plays Mandodari, and Ravi Dubey portrays Lakshman. Sunny Deol, Rakul Preet Singh, and Arun Govil are also part of the film.
