There is palpable excitement among audiences regarding the upcoming film 'Ramayana'. The filmmakers have shared a major update concerning its trailer. Reports indicate that the 'Ramayana' trailer is scheduled for release on July 30 at 4:15 AM (Indian Standard Time). It is believed that the makers intend to release it during the auspicious *Brahma Muhurat*. There is also news that the 'Ramayana' trailer will be attached to the Hollywood film 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day', which is releasing tomorrow.
**Information Shared by the Producer**
Initially, the trailer was slated for release on July 24; however, the makers later postponed it. Namit Malhotra, the producer of 'Ramayana', announced the trailer release details on Instagram. He wrote, "At the auspicious *Brahma Muhurat*, we welcome the arrival of *Ramayana* with our trailer, releasing worldwide on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at 4:15 AM (IST)."
**Languages of the Trailer Release**
In a statement, Malhotra said, "Today marks a very special moment for our *Ramayana*. My dream of taking *Ramayana* to the world is becoming a reality through our partnership with Sony Pictures Entertainment. With this in mind, we will launch our trailer globally."
According to the makers, the trailer will be released simultaneously in multiple languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
**Film's Star Cast**
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film 'Ramayana' features Ranbir Kapoor as Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, and Ravi Dubey as Lakshman. The music has been composed by Hans Zimmer and A.R. Rahman.
**What is the Film's Budget?**
Since its announcement, 'Ramayana' has been one of the most talked-about Indian film projects. The film's total budget is estimated to be around ₹4,000 crore. The Oscar-winning company DNEG is handling the visual effects (VFX) for the film.
Being made in two parts, this film is based on the ancient epic 'Ramayana'. It will depict the story of Lord Ram, who is considered an avatar of Lord Vishnu.
When will the film be released?
The first part of 'Ramayana' is set to release in theaters during Diwali 2026, while the second part is expected to arrive during Diwali 2027.
