According to reports, a song from the film was set to be launched on October 11, 2026—coinciding with the first day of Navratri—at an event in Ramtek, Maharashtra. However, the event has been postponed. Ranbir, Sai, and Ravi were expected to attend.

MLA Ashish Jaiswal confirmed the postponement of the event on Instagram. He shared a video announcing that the event had been called off. In the caption, Jaiswal wrote, "We wish to inform you all that the event scheduled for October 11, featuring the entire team of the film 'Ramayana', has been postponed. Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and the film's cast were set to attend. The event aimed to highlight the significance of Ramtek, a place graced by the footsteps of Lord Ram."

He further explained that Maharashtra is currently facing a severe drought, and assisting farmers is his top priority. Consequently, he discussed the matter with the film's team, who expressed a willingness to help the farmers. Jaiswal also thanked the social media influencers who had promoted the event.
