Girls used to misbehave under the name of Holi. Girls were molested. Keeping this in mind, a new rule was made. This happens among the Santhal tribals.

If color is smeared on girls of this caste even by mistake, then first of all a panchayat will be held. Many times the boys have to apologize in front of everyone.

And sometimes marriage also. The elders of the village decide this. The girl is asked if she is ready for marriage. Everyone follows this tradition without question.

Earlier it was seen that in the name of Holi, people used to behave indecently and obscenely with each other and used to say that it is Holi.

But, the elders thought that now a solution will have to be found if you put color on women, then either you will have to get married or you will have to apologize publicly in front of the village panchayat.

In many districts of Jharkhand like Lohardaga and the villages inside, this tradition is seen a lot there. Even today, Holi is celebrated with great decorum.
