Easy Ways To Ease Back-To-School Stress: For children, going to a new class can be full of excitement but also quite challenging. Many children feel nervous and anxious while facing a new environment, new friends and new teachers. The role of parents is very important to overcome this fear. If parents show the right direction and adopt some easy tips to deal with fear, then you can fill your child with confidence and make his school experience easier. If your child is also nervous about the new class, then adopt these easy measures to reduce his nervousness and send him to school happily.

How to remove anxiety and fear of the child before going to the new class -

Talk openly to the child - If your child is scared about the new class, then talk to him. Ask him how he is feeling and what is bothering him the most. Understand his concerns and assure him that you are always with him.

Speak positive things – Tell the child about the benefits of the new class. Explain to him that making new friends, learning from new teachers, and exploring new things can be a good experience full of excitement. When the child feels positive about the new class, his nervousness will be less.

Show the school environment in advance – If possible, take the child to school and show him his new class, teacher, and classroom. This will help him get familiar with the environment there and reduce the fear of going to the new session.

Do not change the routine – Keep the child's sleep, eating, and playing routine normal before the first day of school. If the child sleeps and wakes up at the right time, he will feel fresh and full of energy.

Encourage him to be self-reliant – Motivate the child to prepare his school bag, wear his uniform, and do other small tasks himself. This will increase his confidence and he will feel more comfortable about going to school.

Prepare to make new friends- Teach the child how to mingle with others. Tell him that saying “Hi” or “Hello”, smiling and playing together helps in making new friends.

Know that the fear of going to a new class is natural for children, but parents can overcome it by giving the right support. Your small efforts filled with love, understanding and positivity will increase the child's confidence and he will be happily ready to go to school.
