It is believed that those who worship Lord Shani never face troubles in life. However, certain rules have been established for Saturday, which should be followed. What to do on Saturday? (Shaniwar Dos)
Lighting a lamp with mustard oil under a peepal tree on Saturday evening is considered very auspicious. This provides relief from the troubles of Shani's Sade Sati and Dhaiya periods.
On this day, one should donate black sesame seeds, black cloth, urad dal (black lentils), or iron. Always give donations to someone in need.

Lord Shani had promised Lord Hanuman that he would never cast his gaze upon his devotees. Therefore, recite the Hanuman Chalisa or Sundarkand on Saturday. This reduces the effect of Shani Dosha (negative influence of Saturn).

Lord Shani is the god of justice, and he is pleased with those who help the helpless. Therefore, feed the needy.

If Saturn is in an auspicious position in your horoscope, wear an iron ring on your middle finger after consulting an astrologer.

What not to do on Saturday? (Shaniwar Don'ts)
Buying iron on Saturday is considered inauspicious. Doing so can anger Lord Shani and increase discord in the house. However, donating iron on this day is very auspicious.

Buying salt and mustard oil on this day leads to financial difficulties.

One should also avoid buying new shoes and scissors on Saturday. It is believed that this causes rifts in relationships and creates obstacles in work.

Cutting hair and nails is prohibited on Saturday.

Lord Shani is a symbol of purity and righteousness. Therefore, avoid consuming Rajasic (stimulating) and Tamasic (inert) food on Saturday.
