Fever is not a disease.

It can be understood in this way that fever is a sign of the body, not a disease. It is often a sign of an infection. You can also have fever due to autoimmune disease, cancer, and inflammation related problems.
Even though fever is not considered a serious problem, frequent fever can be a cause of concern.
Why does fever occur repeatedly?
Health experts say, there can be many reasons for fever.
In the case of mosquito-borne diseases like malaria, one gets a fever again and again followed by chills. Apart from this, headache and fatigue are also felt in this.
Patients with TB can also keep getting fever again and again, this disease is caused by bacteria in response to which you can get fever. Its other symptoms include night sweats, weight loss and cough. Fever comes again and again in case of TB. Typhoid, which is caused by the consumption of dirty water and food items, also causes continuous fever stomach pain, vomiting, and headache.
UTI and other infectious diseases
Fever can also come again and again in case of UTI or pelvic infection in women. In this, there is a burning sensation while urinating and pain in the lower abdomen. In the case of dengue, a sudden high fever comes. Apart from this, there is also pain in the head, muscles, and joints.
Similarly, in the case of lupus, the body's immune system attacks healthy tissues. In this, the patient gets a mild fever and there may be joint pain, fatigue, and skin rashes.
Health experts say that if the fever lasts for two or more days, consult a doctor get treatment, and avoid taking any kind of medicine on your own.

Senior doctor Dr. Jugal Kishore says, usually fever gets cured in 3 to 5 days, but some people get fever again and again. Sometimes serious health conditions like high blood pressure and cancer can also cause you to have fever again and again. If you also have such a problem, then consult a doctor get yourself examined and get the right treatment.
