Sai Pallavi: Major Blow for Sai Pallavi Ahead of 'Ramayana' Release! Did She Lose a Big Film?

Sai Pallavi has suffered a major setback just ahead of the release of *Ramayana*. The actress has lost out on a major film project. According to reports, Sai Pallavi was slated to star in the highly anticipated biopic of the legendary Carnatic singer M.S. Subbulakshmi; however, she has now been replaced.

According to a report by *123 Telugu*, Rukmini Vasanth has now been cast in place of Sai Pallavi for the upcoming biopic on M.S. Subbulakshmi. While Rukmini Vasanth has indeed replaced Sai Pallavi, the filmmakers have not yet officially confirmed this development.

This news comes at a time when Rukmini is gearing up for her high-profile Telugu debut, in which she will be seen alongside Junior NTR. Although Rukmini Vasanth has been active in films since 2019—having made her acting debut that year—she has been consistently making headlines over the past year.

Last year, the 29-year-old actress appeared in Rishab Shetty's film, *Kantara: Chapter 1*. She played the female lead opposite Rishab Shetty in the movie. The immense success of *Kantara: Chapter 1* propelled the actress into the spotlight.

The film brought Rukmini Vasanth widespread popularity, and she is now poised to make her foray into Telugu cinema alongside Junior NTR. Given these developments, if the actress does indeed land the lead role in the Subbulakshmi biopic, it could prove to be a pivotal turning point in her career.
