The Joint Council of Master Staff has suggested that a uniform fitment factor (Fitment factor for 8th CPC) should be implemented for all levels (1 to 6). According to the 7th Pay Commission, the fitment factor was different for different levels. For example, it was 2.57 percent for level 1, 2.63 percent for level 2, 2.67 percent for level 3, 2.72 percent for level 4, and 2.81 percent for higher level. Now, in the new proposal, it can be increased to 2.86 percent. This is also the demand made by the employee organizations to the government.

Salary can increase by this much -

Recently, under a new proposal, there is a possibility of an increase in the minimum salary for government employees. According to various standards like fitment factor 1.92 percent, the minimum salary can be from 18 thousand to 34650 rupees (Minimum salary in 8th CPC), in fitment factor 2.08, the minimum salary can be from 18 thousand to 37440 rupees and according to the fitment factor 2.86 percent, the minimum salary can increase from 18 thousand to 51,480 rupees. According to these standards, a big change of double to almost three times increase can be seen in the salary received by the employees.

Levels 1 to 6 can be merged-

Under the new pay commission, a big change has been proposed for government employees for salary increase, under which there is a plan to combine different categories from 1 to 6 together. This change will simplify the salary structure and employees will get salaries at a uniform level. The National Joint Consultative Mechanism and senior officials have recommended merging the first category employees such as merging Level 2, Level 3 with Level 4, and Level 5 with Level 6, which can make the new system even more effective for the employees. This step is being taken to make the salary and other benefits of the employees better and transparent.

DA amount may come in March -

Compared to earlier, employees are expected to get more amount after the salary hike.
