Ingredients for making Sheer Khurma

Vermicelli - 100 grams

Milk - 1 liter

Sugar - 5-6 tablespoons

Cardamom powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Ghee - 2 tablespoons

Cashews - 10-12 (chopped)

Almonds - 10-12 (chopped)

Pistachios - 8-10 (chopped)

Raisins - 10-12

Method

To make Sheer Khurma, you first have to roast the vermicelli. To roast the vermicelli, heat one spoon of ghee in a pan. When the ghee is hot, add the vermicelli to it and fry it until it turns golden. Keep in mind that while frying it, keep the gas very low, otherwise, the vermicelli will burn, and this will spoil the taste of Sheer Khurma. When it is roasted properly, take it out and keep it on a separate plate.

After this comes the turn to boil the milk, so put the milk to boil in a large vessel on medium flame. When the milk boils, add sugar to it and stir. When the sugar dissolves, add cardamom powder to it and let the milk boil. Boiling milk on low flame will enhance its taste.

While the milk is boiling, heat 1 tablespoon of ghee in a pan add cashews, almonds, pistachios, and raisins, and fry them lightly. Now mix these roasted dry fruits in the milk.

Along with this, add roasted vermicelli to the milk. Keep stirring it until it is cooked. When the vermicelli is cooked and the milk thickens, turn off the gas. You can also serve Sheer Khurma cold. It tastes equally delicious even when it is cold.
