The daily hustle and bustle and lack of moisture in the air can leave your skin dry. This can lead to increased fine lines and uneven skin tone over time. You can hydrate and keep your skin healthy by doing a facial at home. Let's learn how you can achieve beautiful skin with a home facial.

Start with Double Cleansing
For the first cleanse, use an oil-based or creamy milk cleanser. This will remove dirt, pollution damage, dead skin cells, and makeup from the top layer of your skin. For the second cleanse, use a water-based gel cleanser to completely remove oil and deeply cleanse the skin. This is the best way to start your home facial.
Apply Toner
This is a quick but essential step for skin hydration and product absorption. Toners, mists, and sprays maintain the skin's pH balance. Apply toner after cleansing your face and before applying other skincare products. Apply it in multiple layers for extra hydration.
Exfoliation: Exfoliating once a week removes dead skin cells and unclogs pores. Don't forget to exfoliate your lips as well, and choose an exfoliating product according to your skin type.
Treatment Mask: Treatment masks are considered very effective in combating aging, pollution effects, and breakouts. During a professional facial, the treatment mask is applied after exfoliation. Leave this mask on for 30 minutes. If you have time, you can even leave it on overnight.
Homemade Masks
The first thing to consider when making a mask is your skin type and your goal. Generally, masks made with these ingredients are beneficial, but be sure to do a patch test before applying them:
Prepare a yogurt and honey mask to brighten and moisturize your complexion. Make an avocado and honey mask for nourishment.
An oat and honey mask is perfect for sensitive skin.
A mask made with neem, basil, and multani mitti (Fuller's earth) is effective for acne-prone skin.
Apply a serum.
After washing off the mask, you can begin your regular skincare routine. Apply a serum containing Vitamin C for anti-aging, brightening, and skin protection, or a serum with hyaluronic acid for hydration. You can also apply a serum containing retinol to help with cell regeneration.
