Momos are everyone's favorite snack these days. Often, they're considered unhealthy because they're fried or contain too much flour. Ingredients
For the dough:
Finely chopped vegetables (cabbage, carrots, bell peppers) – 1 cup
Ginger-garlic paste – 1 teaspoon
Green chili – 1 (finely chopped)
Soy sauce – 1 teaspoon
Salt – to taste
Oil – 1 tablespoon
Step 1: Prepare the spinach puree
Wash the spinach thoroughly and boil it.
When cool, grind it in a mixer to make a smooth puree.
Step 2: Knead the dough
Add salt and oil to the flour.
Add the spinach puree and knead it into a soft dough.
Cover and let it rest for 15 minutes.
Step 3: Prepare the filling
Heat oil in a pan.
Add the ginger-garlic paste and green chilies and fry.
Add the vegetables and cook lightly for 2-3 minutes.
Add soy sauce and salt and mix.
Let the filling cool.
Step 4: Making the Momos
Make small balls of dough and roll them into thin sheets.
Place the filling in the center and fold the edges to close.
Cook the momos in a steamer for 10-12 minutes.
Step 5: Serve
Serve hot spinach momos with chili sauce or tomato chutney. You can also serve them tandoori or pan-fried.

Use wheat flour or a wheat-wheat mixture instead of refined flour.

Avoid fried momos; steamed momos are healthier.
