Agra, world-famous for its symbol of love, the Taj Mahal, is once again decked up for its grand annual festival, the Taj Mahotsav. If you're a lover of art, culture, and delicious cuisine, this is the perfect time to visit Agra.

Festival Dates and Times
Taj Mahotsav 2026 is being held from February 18th to February 27th, 2026. This 10-day cultural extravaganza will be open to visitors every day from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.

Where is it being held?
The Taj Mahotsav used to be held at Shilpgram, but this time the venue has been changed due to ongoing construction work (Unity Mall) at Shilpgram. This year, the festival is being held in a large open ground located near the 'I Love Agra' selfie point on Fatehabad Road.

Ticket Prices
Ticket rates have been kept very affordable to allow people from all walks of life to enjoy the Taj Mahotsav:

Adults - ₹50 per person
Children (up to 3 years old) - Entry is completely free
Foreign Tourists - Entry is also free for foreign tourists
School Children - ₹700 for a group of 50 children in uniform. Entry is free for two accompanying teachers.

How to Get Tickets?
Note that there is currently no online ticketing system for the Taj Mahotsav. You must purchase physical tickets from the ticket counters located at all entry points to the venue.

The Taj Mahotsav is not just a fair, but a reflection of Indian culture.

Arts and Handicrafts - More than 400 artisans from across the country showcase their art here. Here you can see and purchase exquisite Banarasi silk, Lucknow's Chikankari, Agra's marble inlay work, Saharanpur's carved wood, Kashmir's Pashmina, and bamboo products from the Northeast.

Cultural Programs - Classical dance, folk music, and other programs will be presented on the festival's main stage every evening. This year, Krishna Abhishek's comedy and the musical vibes of artists like Sachin and Jigar will entertain the audience.
