The Traitors: Bipasha Basu Turns Down Offer for 'The Traitors'! Opts Out of Karan Johar's Show for This Reason..

The first season of *The Traitors India*, hosted by Karan Johar, proved to be a massive hit with audiences. Amazon Prime Video announced the second season of *The Traitors* during its annual slate announcement earlier this year. Karan Johar is now set to begin filming for the second season of this reality show very soon. Several names have surfaced as potential contestants for the new season of *The Traitors*, with Bipasha Basu's name being a prominent one. However, according to the latest media reports, Bipasha Basu has declined the offer to join Karan Johar's show.

Ever since the show's announcement, there had been speculation that Bipasha Basu might be a part of this season. Now, if the latest media reports are to be believed, Bipasha Basu has turned down the offer to participate in this reality show. Bipasha is currently not in the mood to join any reality show, and she has clearly conveyed this to the production team. Since the birth of her daughter, Devi, Bipasha has been focusing more on her personal life and family; this is believed to be the primary reason she declined to do the show.

'Dhuraland' Actress Krystle D'Souza to Appear in 'The Traitors'

Meanwhile, regarding the top contestants for the second season of Karan Johar's show, the names of Neha Dhupia and Krystle D'Souza are considered to be confirmed. Both actresses are set to be a part of the show this time around. Additionally, Sanjay Kapoor may also be seen in *The Traitors*. Apart from them, several other names—such as Shweta Tiwari, Munawar Faruqui, Elvish Yadav, Rubina Dilaik, and Mallika Sherawat—are also currently being discussed. However, the makers have not yet released an official list of contestants, keeping the suspense alive.

Uorfi Javed Won the First Season

It is worth noting that Uorfi Javed and Nikita Luther emerged as the winners of the first season of *The Traitors*. Their clever strategies and gameplay were widely appreciated by the audience. The show's format is based on 'Traitors vs. Innocents,' in which contestants must strike a balance between intellect, cunning, and trust. It is a copy of an American show.
