MakeMyTrip, an online travel booking service provider, has introduced the 'Loved by Devotees' service on its app to help people plan spiritual travel and pilgrimages. The facility has options for more than 450 hotels and homestays in 26 major spiritual destinations, the company said in a statement on Thursday.

This will help in better planning of spiritual journeys and finding accommodations that meet the specific needs of travelers for comfort, accessibility, and convenience. Ankit Khanna, Chief Product Officer (Hotels, Growth and Emerging Business), MakeMyTrip, said that this (Loved by Devotees) service will help travelers find the right accommodation.

It aims to "remove the stress of planning so that devotees can focus more on what really matters - the faith and experience." The initiative currently covers 26 spiritual destinations - Ajmer, Amritsar, Ayodhya, Deoghar, Dwarka, Guruvayur, Haridwar, Katra, Kukke Subramanyam, Kumbakonam, Madurai, Mathura, Nathdwara, Prayagraj, Puri, Rameswaram, Shirdi, Somnath, Thanjavur, Tiruvannamalai, Thrissur, Tirupati, Udupi, Ujjain, Varanasi and Vrindavan.
