UIDAI has decided to enter into a new partnership with Google to display authorized Aadhaar centers on Google Maps. The Ministry of Electronics and IT announced this on Thursday. Following this agreement, people across the country will soon be able to locate their nearest verified Aadhaar centers and access important information about the services available there.

Google Maps will now also assist in this task.
This initiative will help the public identify Aadhaar centers for various Aadhaar-related services. This will allow them to easily access services related to adult enrollment, child enrollment, or simply updating their address and mobile number using Google Maps.

In addition, the implementation of this new initiative will make it possible to easily access information related to Aadhaar centers' accessibility, such as disabled-friendly infrastructure, parking availability, and operating hours. According to the Ministry of Electronics and IT, this feature is expected to be available in the coming months.

Over 60,000 Aadhaar Centers Will Be Locatable Through Google Maps
The primary objective of this new feature is to provide vital information about Aadhaar centers to the public, enabling them to easily access over 60,000 Aadhaar centers, including state-of-the-art Aadhaar Seva Kendras (Service Centers) across the country. This will ensure that users can better and more easily access verified Aadhaar centers using Google Maps.

UIDAI CEO Bhuvnesh Kumar said, "UIDAI has always focused on simplifying the system for Aadhaar holders. This collaboration will ensure that visiting authorized Aadhaar centers will now be simpler, faster, and more transparent." Roli Agarwal, Country Head of Strategic Partnerships, Google India, said, "Integrating verified Aadhaar centers with UIDAI will make it easier for millions of residents to find reliable services with confidence, a priority today."
