Vijaya Ekadashi 2026: Every year, the fast of Vijaya Ekadashi is observed on the eleventh day (Ekadashi) of the dark fortnight of the Phalguna month. On this day, worshipping Lord Vishnu with proper rituals and donating yellow items is considered auspicious. This brings happiness, peace, and prosperity into one's life. According to the scriptures, this Ekadashi, true to its name Vijaya (victory), is believed to grant victory. If one observes the fast and chants the name of Lord Hari with devotion and according to the prescribed rules, the devotee attains victory over their enemies. The eleventh day (Ekadashi) of the dark fortnight of the Phalguna month will begin on February 12, 2026, at 12:22 PM.
This date is considered to end on February 13th at 2:25 PM.
According to the lunar calendar, the Vijaya Ekadashi fast will be observed on February 13th.
The breaking of the fast (Parana) will be done the next day, February 14th, between 7:00 AM and 9:14 AM.

Vijaya Ekadashi Puja Method
For the Ekadashi puja, place an idol of Lord Vishnu on a platform.
Offer yellow clothes and a garland of flowers to Lord Vishnu.
Now apply sandalwood paste to the Lord and light a lamp of pure ghee in front of him.
Offer Panchamrit, yellow sweets, jaggery, and chickpeas as offerings.
Chant the mantras of Lord Vishnu and recite the Vijaya Ekadashi story.
Finally, perform the Aarti and perform acts of charity and donation according to your capacity.
