Worship of the Banana Tree
The banana tree holds special significance on Vivah Panchami. According to astrology, if a person has a Jupiter-related defect, worshipping the banana tree removes it. Jupiter, the guru of the gods, is considered the knower of marriage, children, and religion. Therefore, those facing delays in marriage or having children should worship the banana tree on this date.

On Vivah Panchami, wake up early in the morning and take a bath. Afterward, wear yellow clothes and tie a yellow rope to the banana tree. After offering flowers with turmeric and sandalwood, light incense, and a ghee lamp. Chant mantras dedicated to Lord Rama, who is a form of Lord Vishnu. Meditate on Lakshmi Narayana while worshipping the banana tree. Afterward, offer items such as akshada, panchamrit, betel nut, cloves, cardamom, and a lamp.
