On Thursday, the 'Udaan Yatri Cafe' at Chennai Airport was inaugurated by Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu. The first Udaan Yatri Cafe was inaugurated on 19 December 2024 at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata. On the 100th anniversary of Kolkata Airport, the Airport Authority of India (AAI) opened the first Udaan Yatri Cafe as a gift to the passengers. After the great success at Kolkata Airport, AAI decided to open Udaan Yatri Cafe at all the airports in the country.

Yatri cafes will also open at other airports in the country.

In this episode, the cafe has been started at Chennai Airport on Thursday. This cafe has been opened in the pre-check-in area of ​​​​Terminal One (Domestic Terminal) at Chennai Airport. In this cafe, a bottle of water will cost ten rupees, tea for 10 rupees, coffee for 20 rupees, samosa for 20 rupees and Sweet of the Day will be available for just 20 rupees. According to the ministry, after Chennai airport, flight passenger cafes will soon be started at other airports in the country.
