In a recent interview, filmmaker Luv Ranjan discussed his future film projects. He revealed that he is serious about making a biopic on Sourav Ganguly and that filming could begin soon.

When will the biopic's shooting begin?
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Luv Ranjan said, “We have just finished an action film with Ajay Devgn. It is scheduled to be released at the end of this year. We have already announced it. We are going to start Sourav Ganguly's biopic very soon, in March. We are working on this project.”

Who will play Sourav Ganguly in the film?
Rajkummar Rao will be seen in the lead role in this biopic. He will play the role of former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly. He is also preparing for the role. It is reported that he is learning to bat left-handed, just like Sourav Ganguly.
