Sunny Deol is currently enjoying the immense love his recently released film 'Border 2' is receiving in theaters. Meanwhile, the actor has landed another major project and has announced his next venture.

Several Films in the Pipeline
The actor already has films like Gabru, Ramayana Part 1, and Lahore 1947 in the works, but he has now given his nod to another project. Sunny Deol's next film will be produced by Farhan Akhtar and AR Murugadoss. The title of the film has not yet been decided. AR Murugadoss is known for films like 'Ghajini'. The project will be directed by Balaji Ganesh, who previously worked as an assistant to Murugadoss on the Salman Khan-starrer 'Sikandar'.

This project is an action thriller. Jyothika has been cast as the lead actress; she was last seen in the Netflix series 'Dabba Cartel', which premiered in February 2025.

When will filming begin?
Filming for Sunny Deol's upcoming film will begin next month, in February 2026.  Further details about the project have not yet been revealed. According to some reports, the film is titled 'Anthony'. This movie will mark the first time Sunny Deol and Farhan Akhtar will work together. It's worth noting that Sunny Deol's father, the late actor Dharmendra, and Javed Akhtar worked together on several films, giving us memorable hits like Yaadon Ki Baaraat, Seeta Aur Geeta, and Sholay.
