It's only natural for food lovers to salivate at the mere mention of chole bhature. There's hardly anyone who doesn't love this classic North Indian dish. Especially in North India, the craze for chole bhature is on a different level. For those living in Delhi-NCR, it's not just a snack or a meal, but a special feeling. For many, chole bhature is not just a food, but an emotion.

However, due to changing lifestyles and increasing health awareness, people have become somewhat more averse to fried foods. Despite this, whenever you see puffy, golden bhature on your plate, it's hard to resist. If you can get that same taste without oil, it's great! Keeping this need in mind, today we bring you an easy and clever recipe for oil-free bhature, allowing you to prepare light, fluffy bhature at home. Let's learn the simple recipe without further delay.
How to Make Bhature Without Oil
Step 1:
First, take flour in a large bowl. Add yogurt, baking soda, and a pinch of salt. Add water little by little and knead into a soft dough. Once the dough is ready, cover it with a clean cloth and let it rest for about an hour so that it sets properly.
Step 2:
After an hour, lightly knead the dough and form balls. Roll these balls into bhaturas and place them on a plate.
Step 3:
Heat water in a pot on the stove. When the water starts to boil, add the bhaturas one by one. After about 2 minutes, when the bhaturas begin to puff up slightly, remove them from the water.
Step 4:
Next, preheat the air fryer to 200 degrees Celsius. Now add the bhaturas one by one to the air fryer and cook for about 3 minutes.

Step 5:
In just a few minutes, you'll see that the bhaturas have become completely puffed and golden, even without oil. Serve them with hot chole, green chutney, and onions, and healthily enjoy chole-bhature.
