A shooting incident has been reported outside the residence of film director Rohit Shetty in Mumbai's Juhu area. Rohit Shetty was inside his house at the time of the firing. Juhu police arrived at the scene after the incident. Fortunately, no one was injured in the firing. According to senior Mumbai Police sources, the preliminary investigation revealed that there was only one assailant. The police have also recorded Rohit Shetty's statement in this case.

The police examined the CCTV footage from the area after the incident, which shows the accused firing while walking. Crime Branch sources say that the investigation is also considering the possibility of a gangster link in this case. The police are investigating the matter from all angles.
12 Crime Branch teams formed for investigation
Mumbai Police has registered an FIR in the firing incident outside Rohit Shetty's house. The FIR has been registered against unknown persons under relevant sections of the BNS (Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita) and the Arms Act. Given the seriousness of the incident, the Mumbai Police Crime Branch has been entrusted with the investigation. The Crime Branch has formed 12 teams to apprehend the accused in this case.
The police are searching for the accused with the help of CCTV footage from the area. Currently, the investigation is being conducted from all angles. Crime Branch sources say that the possibility of a gangster link is also being explored in the firing incident outside Rohit Shetty's house.
Police record Rohit Shetty's statement
The Crime Branch team has recorded Rohit Shetty's statement in this case. According to sources, Rohit Shetty is being asked if he has ever received any threats or if he suspects anyone. The director is being questioned about all aspects that could assist in the investigation.

According to police sources, the assailant arrived in the Juhu area on a motorcycle. He parked the bike a short distance from Rohit Shetty's house, then walked to Shetty Tower (the name of Rohit Shetty's building). After reaching the house, the assailant fired shots and fled. According to the police, similarities are being observed between the firing incident at Salman Khan's house and the one at Rohit Shetty's residence. The modus operandi in both cases appears to be the same.
Is the Bishnoi gang involved in the Rohit Shetty case? No evidence has been found to confirm this yet. The police are investigating the modus operandi of both cases.
The assailant had spoken to an auto-rickshaw driver near the crime scene. The auto driver told the police that the assailant asked him, "Will you go to Kalyan?" The driver replied, "Kalyan is far away, I can drop you at a station near Juhu." The police are now recording the driver's statement.
A Crime Branch team has also reached the crime scene. They have also questioned the auto driver who saw the assailant.
A forensic team also arrived at director Rohit Shetty's house and collected forensic samples.
