Amritsari Chole Bhature: You can easily prepare this famous street food of Punjab at home..

Ingredients

2 cups chickpeas

Tea leaves

Dried amla

1 bay leaf

1 cinnamon stick

2 cardamoms

1 tsp cumin seeds

1 tsp red chili powder

1 tsp coriander powder

1 tsp cumin powder

3 tsp salt

1 cup water

1 tomato chopped into pieces

1 bunch of coriander leaves

1 big cardamom

8 black peppercorns

3 cloves

2 onions chopped into pieces

1 tsp garlic

1 tsp ginger

1 tsp turmeric powder

1 tsp yeast

1/2 tsp sugar

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 cup wheat flour

Recipe for making chickpeas

- First of all, take a vessel. Boil chickpeas along with tea leaves and dried amla.

- Now heat oil in a pan. When the oil is hot, add bay leaves, cinnamon, cumin seeds, black pepper, and cloves to the pan.

- Now add onion and fry till it becomes golden brown.

- Now add garlic, ginger, turmeric, red chili, coriander, cumin powder and salt and mix well.

- Now add water to this mixture and add boiled chickpeas and chopped tomatoes.

- After mixing it well, take it out in another cooker. Add green coriander and cook in a pressure cooker.

Recipe to make Bhatura

- Take yeast in a bowl and add some sugar and water. Mix it well.

- Take flour in a large bowl. Mix some wheat flour, salt and yeast.

- Mix it lightly and add water. Mix it and knead the dough.

- Now cover this dough with a wet cloth and leave it for 2-3 hours so that yeast comes into it.

- Take some dough and make roti from it. Heat oil in a pan fry them and serve hot.
