Axar Patel's record
Axar Patel has played 150 IPL matches so far and has scored 1653 runs at a strike rate of around 131. Also, he has taken 123 wickets at an economy rate of 7.28. However, he does not have experience of captaincy. He is still raw in this matter. But, with his all-round game, he has been the backbone of Delhi Capitals. Apart from this, 31-year-old Akshar has been associated with Delhi for 7 seasons. That is why he has been made the captain of the team.
