108 out of 251 are tribal daughters
Bageshwar Dham Peethadheeshwar said that 108 tribal daughters have been selected for marriage in the 251 Kanya Vivah ceremony because in Bundelkhand, the strongmen do not allow Dalit grooms to sit on horses and also tribals become victims of conversion, as recently a case has come to light in Chhatarpur district. Therefore, the wedding procession of all the grooms will be taken out on horses.

The Peethadheeshwar of Bageshwar Dham, Pt. Dhirendra Krishna Shastri said that to eradicate the social and caste differences, it has been decided that the wedding procession of all the 108 tribal girls who are going to take place in the 6th Vivaah Maha Mahotsav to be held on 26 February at the Dham will be taken out on 108 horses.

From here, the message will be given to the whole country that now there is no caste-based discrimination in the country. Everyone has the right to celebrate their wedding with equal feelings. Because the oppressors do not allow Dalit grooms to sit on horses. He said that this year 57 such couples will tie the knot in this Maha Yagya who are from other states apart from Madhya Pradesh.

Lehenga-chunri, sherwani, cap presented to bride and groom's side

Maharajshree and Minister of State for Animal Husbandry Lakhan Patel presented all 251 couples to Bageshwar Dham and presented them with initial material. Lehenga-chunri, sandals, bracelets for the daughter, and sherwani and cap for the groom were presented, so that they could get ready a day before and reach Bageshwar Dham. This time the bride and groom's side have been called to the Dham on 25th February itself so that they can avoid any trouble.

The historic Kanya Vivah Mahotsav of Bundelkhand is being organized on 26th February. The President will bless 251 brides and grooms for a successful married life. Tent pandal will be in 3 lakh square feet, pavilion and bhandara in 15 acres
Tents are being set up in 3 lakh square feet, while mandap and bhandara have been arranged in 12 to 15 acres. Baba said that Bageshwar Dham is one such place in the country, where a donation box has been opened for poor daughters.
