**When is the bank strike taking place?**
According to information provided by SBI, employee unions have announced a nationwide strike for September 28, 29, and 30, 2026. Additionally, the unions have stated that if their demands are not met, an indefinite strike will commence on October 26, 2026.
**What has SBI advised customers?**
To ensure customers do not face any inconvenience during the strike, SBI has requested them to take the following measures:
* The bank has urged customers to complete all essential financial and banking transactions well in advance of the strike dates.
* Customers requiring cash should utilize ATMs and ADWMs (Automated Deposit-cum-Withdrawal Machines).
* For routine banking tasks, customers should use the YONO app, internet banking, mobile banking, UPI, or other digital channels.
* SBI has stated that it will make every effort to ensure essential banking services continue to operate smoothly at branches and offices; however, some services may still be disrupted due to the strike.
