Kid-friendly beetroot recipe: Beetroot is very beneficial for children's health. It is rich in iron, folic acid, calcium, and fiber, which strengthen their bones and protect them from anemia. It helps in increasing immunity, which keeps children away from diseases. The natural sugar of beetroot gives instant energy to children, while the antioxidants present in it keep their skin and hair healthy. But the problem is that children do not like to eat it. In such a situation, here we are telling some such fun recipes with the help of which you can easily feed beetroot to children. Make these beetroot recipes for children-

Beetroot Paratha-
Ingredients:
Beetroot (grated) – 1 cup
Wheat flour – 2 cups
Ginger-garlic paste – 1 teaspoon
Cumin seeds – 1/2 teaspoon
Salt and spices as per taste
Method: Roast the grated beetroot with some salt and spices. Mix roasted beetroot, ginger-garlic paste, and spices in the flour and knead soft dough. Roll it to make a paratha apply ghee and bake it on a pan. Serve it to children with curd.
Beetroot juice-
Ingredients:
Beetroot – 2
Apple – 1
Carrot – 1
Lemon juice – 1 teaspoon
Honey as per taste
Method: Cut beetroot, apple, and carrot into pieces. Blend them in a mixer and filter them through a sieve. Mix lemon juice and honey and serve cold.

Beetroot Idli-
Ingredients:
Idli batter – 2 cups
Beetroot paste – 1/2 cup
Salt as per taste
Method: Mix beetroot paste and salt in idli batter. Put it in idli mold and steam it. Serve hot with coconut chutney.
Beetroot Kheer-
Ingredients:
Beetroot (grated) – 1 cup
Milk – 1 liter
Sugar – 1/2 cup
Ghee – 1 teaspoon
Cardamom powder – half teaspoon
Dry fruits – one teaspoon finely chopped
Method: Lightly fry the grated beetroot in ghee. When the milk boils, add beetroot and cook on low flame. Add sugar, cardamom powder, and dry fruits and cook till it thickens. Serve cold or hot.

Beetroot Soup-
Ingredients:
Beetroot – 2
Tomato – 1
Onion – 1
Butter – 1 teaspoon
Salt and pepper to taste
Method: Cut beetroot, tomato, and onion into small pieces and boil. Blend them and make a puree. Add the puree to the butter, add salt and pepper. Serve the soup hot.
