Everyone loves eating parathas during the winter season. They are a great option for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. If you're tired of eating potato and cauliflower parathas and want to try something different, then today we've brought you some healthy and tasty paratha recipes that will make your lunch box special. Spinach Paratha
Ingredients:
Spinach - 500 grams, finely chopped or boiled
Wheat flour - 2 large cups
Green chilies - 2-3, finely chopped
Garlic - 5-6 cloves, grated
Ginger - 1-inch piece (grated)
Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Carom seeds (Ajwain) - 1/2 teaspoon
Salt - to taste
Oil - for cooking the parathas
Water - as needed
Before making the spinach paratha, wash the spinach thoroughly and boil or chop it, then put it in a bowl. Add the flour, salt, green chilies, and other ingredients. Mix all these ingredients with water to prepare the dough. Cover the dough and let it rest for some time so that it sets. After the dough has set, make small balls, roll them out, and cook them on a griddle with a little oil or ghee until golden brown. Now you can eat it with yogurt or pickle.
Carrot Paratha
Ingredients:
Wheat flour - 1 large cup
Carrots - 2, grated
Green chili - 1, finely chopped
Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Garam masala - 1/4 teaspoon
Garlic - 3-4 cloves, grated
Ginger - a little, grated
Carom seeds (Ajwain) - 1/2 teaspoon
Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
Salt - to taste
Oil - for cooking the parathas
Water - as needed
To make carrot paratha, prepare the dough in a bowl by mixing flour, carom seeds, salt, and oil. Next, mix all the ingredients in another bowl to prepare the filling. Make dough balls, fill them with the carrot stuffing, and cook them on a griddle with a little oil or ghee until golden brown. You can now enjoy it with green chutney or yogurt.
Radish Paratha
Ingredients -
Radish - 500 grams, grated
Wheat flour - 2 large bowls
Green chilies - 3-4, finely chopped
Garlic - 2-3 cloves, grated
Ginger - a small piece, grated
Salt - to taste
Carom seeds (Ajwain) - 1/2 teaspoon
Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
Oil - for cooking the parathas
Water - as needed
To make radish paratha, clean the radish well and grate it, then squeeze out all the water. Now, in a bowl, combine the flour, salt, carom seeds, and oil to prepare the dough. Then, in another bowl, mix all the ingredients to prepare the filling. Make dough balls, fill them with the radish stuffing, and after rolling them out well, cook them on a griddle with a little oil until brown. You can eat it with amla or green chutney.
