On the first day of Navratri, the auspicious time for Kalash Sthapana will be from 6:13 am to 10:21 am. On the other hand, Abhijeet Muhurta will be from 12:01 to 12:50.

Apart from this, according to astrological calculations, Panchgrahi Yoga is also being formed on the first day of Navratri after almost 100 years. Along with this, auspicious yogas like Sarvarth Siddhi, Indra, Budhaditya, Shukraditya, and Lakshmi Narayana are formed on the first day. While establishing the Kalash on the first day of Chaitra month, first of all, a wooden stand should be taken. After that, a red colored cloth should be put on it. A picture of Mother Durga should be installed. The Kalash should be installed while meditating on Lord Ganesha. After this, put water or Gangajal in it along with a long turmeric knot, a betel nut, durva, and a one rupee coin, place it on a mango leaf, and cover it with a clay or peepal steel lid. After that, put rice and then wheat on it. If you are placing a coconut on the Kalash, then make a satvik symbol on it, wrap it with a red cloth, and tie a Kalawa.
