Who circulates the earth during Chaturmas?

During Chaturmas, when Lord Vishnu is in Yognidra, then the circulation of the earth is handed over to Rudra Dev, the incarnation of Lord Shiva. During these four months, in the absence of Lord Vishnu, Rudra Dev takes care of the management and supervision of the earth. For this time, Vishnu Ji hands over his responsibilities to Rudra Dev.
This year Chaturmas will begin on 6th July and end on 1st November on the day of Devuthani Ekadashi, when Lord Vishnu awakens again and takes the control of the earth in his hands. The next day, on 2nd November, all the auspicious works will begin with Tulsi Vivah.
