Factors Influencing Gold and Silver Prices

Upcoming US inflation data is considered crucial for gold prices. If inflation rises more than expected, the Federal Reserve might decide to raise interest rates or maintain them at current levels. Such a scenario could put pressure on gold demand, as gold does not generate interest or regular income. Consequently, investors are keeping a close watch on the US CPI data due on Wednesday and PPI data due on Thursday.

However, according to a CNBC report, there are signs of a gradual improvement in the sentiment surrounding gold and other precious metals. Sustained demand has prevented a sharp decline in gold prices. Additionally, global economic factors also appear to be working in favor of gold to some extent.
